Ongoing education is just one of the ways that BAAA is dedicated to keeping members informed with the latest educational materials. Whether you’re getting certified through a professional course or just brushing up at a seminar, staying current on the ever-changing apartment industry is vital to your success.
We offer seminars throughout the year that provide information from leasing, marketing, and maintenance to fair housing and legal. Most seminars allow for Continuing Education Credits for NAA Credentials. Instruction comes from local specialists, governmental entities, and nationally recognized professionals.

Certification Programs
CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR, CPO
Through the National Swimming Pool Foundation, Chadwell Supply is an approved provider of the CPO certification. This is a 2-day course that includes the certification exam.

2024 Class Dates:
EPA 608 REFRIGERANT HANDLING CERTIFICATION
The Federal Clean Air Act, Section 608, requires that persons who service air conditioning and refrigeration systems containing certain refrigerants be certified under a Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved course. Through the ESCO Institute, Chadwell Supply is able to offer this Universal Certification. This is a 1-day course that includes the certification exam.

- Renewal: None. This is a lifetime credential.

Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS)
Earning your CAPS takes you to the next level in property management. It fast-tracks your career advancement and your corresponding earning potential. The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) offers this nationally recognized designation for multi-site supervisors and experienced apartment managers with a CAM, ARM, or RAM designation. |

Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)
The Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) is a specialized designation for developers, property managers, asset managers, and others working in the affordable housing industry through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Successful HCCPs understand how the LIHTC program provides safe, decent, and affordable rental housing for so many American families. Property owners and developers turn to HCCP professionals when they need a more thorough understanding of the complex net of LIHTC regulations that keeps owners and managers in compliance.
