Forest Ridge Senior Residences
Organization Overview
Forest Ridge Senior Residence is a 55 and better affordable �Tax Credit� rental community. This means we have specific Income qualifying criteria we must adhere to. We are also age restricted. Your total gross household income must be a minimum of two times the monthly rent per month but less than $1,895 per month ($22,740. per year) for a 1 person household and less than $2165 per month ($25,980 per year) for a 2 person household. Please keep in mind that this is gross income (before any type of deduction and from ALL sources) that must be verified and counted. Assets totaling more than $5000 in value (except for cars and personal belongings) must be verified. (Assets are not counted as income) There is no minimum or maximum amount of assets you can or can't have, we just have to document what they are.
Rent Includes: Water, trash and pest control.
Electric, cable & phone will be your responsibility.
All buildings have: 1 elevator and two laundry rooms.
Forest Ridge is a non-smoking community and we allow pets up to 25 lbs. with a $250 non-refundable pet fee (breed restrictions apply). Our clubhouse & community has many amenities including a beauty salon, fitness center, computer center, gaming room with a pool table, several sports courts, a pet run area, car care area, raised garden boxes, and a resort style pool with a picnic gazebo & grilling area. Forest Ridge is a 55+ community and does not offer meals or assisted services. We do however, provide a limited activities program. Parking is open and first come first serve. Bright House is the cable provider and Duke Energy services our community. You may bring your own stackable washer and dryer OR use the laundry facilities on the 2nd and 3rd floors of each building. Connections for washers and dryers in most apartments accommodate stackable units only. Handicapped equipped apartment homes accommodate standard side by side units.
