Update on St. Pete Tenant Bill of Rights and Code Enforcement

On Wednesday, March 15, at 10AM, BAAA members are invited to join the webinar "Update on St. Pete Tenant Bill of Rights and Code Enforcement."  This webinar will be lead by Joe Waugh, Director of Codes Compliance for the City of St. Petersburg.  

Background

In 2019, the City of St. Petersburg adopt a Tenant Bill of Rights ordinance that placed new requirements on landlords.  Since then, the City has added and amend ordinances related to tenant rights, with two changes coming at the end of last year.  This webinar will provide an overview of all the aspects of St. Pete's Tenant Bill of Rights, while highlighting recent changes.  Additionally, because Code Enforcement is charged with enforcing the Tenant Bill of Rights, this webinar will also discuss the code enforcement process and common code compliance pitfalls that landlords in St. Pete run into.
