Sarasota Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Background

Sarasota County launched their new $13M Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) on May 4, 2021. The program will provide up to 12 months of rental assistance for past due rent to COVID impacted households, and up to 3 months of future rent. The program is open to households who are at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI) and who can demonstrate a job loss, reduced hours, or other hardship due to the COVID pandemic.  This webinar will provide details on household eligibility, the application process, and how property managers can help their residents apply. 

The webinar will be led by Laurel Varnell, Program Manager with Sarasota County Government who heads the County’s ERAP.
